thalia_seawoodI really enjoyed today! Since until a couple of years ago, I just endured my birthdays, this came as a great surprise to me.
My boy-friend baked two cakes for me as a surprise yesterday and he even cleaned the kitchen afterwards. Wow!
I went to work today and all my collegues were so nice and had bought me a card and a sunflower.
Usually fridays are very busy, but this time it was a big exception! Hardly anybody rang us up with questions and I had lots of time to take care of trickier stuff that I enjoy much more than answering the phone. My collegues joked about that telling me that they had informed our customers about my birthday -- they shouldn't call me because I was getting ancient and needed some rest... Right! (I may be ancient, but am well-preserved! :o))
Got some really nice and thoughtful presents. My favorite right now is "The Matrix", the companion book to the movie written by the Wachowski brothers.
Will have a barbecue party tomorrow and just hope that the weather stays as great as it has been for weeks.
