Can't believe it's this cold outside. Just checked the thermometer we got outside and it reads -17° Celsius.
Okay, it's been around -5 to -10 degrees now since two weeks, but I thought it would get a bit warmer this week?
Let's see how many woolen sweaters I can fit over one another.

I was hoping you could give me some advice.

In Germany, it's a bit unusual to have long periods of really cold weather. However, I prefer the cold winters to winters full of rain, wind and slushy snow.
