"Revenge of the Sith"

thalia_seawoodI'm so excited! I managed to get tickets for the premiere of ROTS on 18th May. Since only three cinemas in my hometown will show the English original and only one of them is a really nice cinema this is definitely an accomplishment. :-)
I also bought myself a ticket for the viewing on Thursday and another one for Sunday. Told my boy-friend about it and he asked me: "What if you don't like it?" Well, that's pretty unlikely. I've seen all the trailers, I've read the screenplay and I've read the novel. And I *love* the story.
I know many people don't enjoy the Star Wars prequels, but I like them just as much as the original trilogy. In fact watching the prequels so far has enhanced my understanding of original trilogy. I've always enjoyed mythology and George Lucas has created the perfect modern myth, IMO. The rise, fall and redemption of Anakin Skywalker makes for a great story! And while I like Luke a lot, it's Anakin I find fascinating. He's such an intriguing character with such potential for good that gets totally twisted.
Maybe I'll write some more about Star Wars one of these days since it's very much on my mind right now. This week was very exhausting though (had to keep a deadline at work), so I'll stop for now. :-)
